I love this so much….it is all about the support group around you and we spend too much time trying to please everyone…we need to surround ourselves with people that support us and love us….that reminds me of one of my very favorite quotes:
“None of us need one more person pointing out where we have failed or fallen short…What each of us needs is family…who believe in us, and who believe that we’re trying to do the best we can.” -Marvin J. Ashton
This is a lesson that I’ve taken to heart this past few years. If people aren’t good for you, no matter what the history, you have to let them go. It’s the best gift for each of you!
This is so true and so right for me at this time in my life, I have spent too much time with those who don’t see the best in me, don’t inspire me, aren’t travelling in my direction, who don’t belive in riding the wind and do not appreciate the power in my wings. ENOUGH, I will set myself free from these people who drag me down!
WOW, I love this!! This will be me in 2011 starting today! I am so blessed to be surrounded by the most amazing people and God continues to place more in my life daily.
Thank you for being eagles for all us, Kathy and Melody!!!

Wow, that is lovely,
having a bad day at work so came here to find inspiration, and to rebuild ready to carry on.
Thank you so much for providing such incredible things.

A beautiful thought and an important one! It’s all too easy to be drawn into relationships, obligations and time-constraints that can rob us of little bits of ourselves. Whether through people-pleasing or self-imposed guilt, it’s still a choice!

I love this too! Am writing it in my Brave Girls Journal right now in a colored marker called
Summer Sun. Perfect! Especially here in Camden, Maine where it is very, very cold today.
We all have to be very mindful of who we choose to share our gifts of time with and who
we will fly with. Fly free!
This is incredible…

Love love love this!
Love this…it is so important to walk in life with those who support us. My flying partner is my husband! 🙂
This is so gorgeous. So glad I have found people to fly with like this in my world. xo
I’m searching for my flock… I haven’t found it yet.
I’ve learned the hard way how important this is. I love the sincere simplicity in this message.
